coping with exam stress♡

Hello everyone! I am so sorry for the lack of posts and content from me for the past few months. Unfortunately, it's highly likely that my blog content will stay the same until the end of June. I will try my best to pop up occasionally but exams and revision has taken a number 1 priority.
Running along the theme of exams is the issue of coping with exam stress. I get extremely nervous about exams and also the mounting amount of work I have to get done so I compiled a few of the ways I cope with exam stress! I wish all of you currently studying for exams the best of luck!

Organise♡
It seems so simple but finding a structured approach to revision is usually the most productive and stress-free. If I write down what I need to do of an evening, I am far more likely to go home and complete the list. Organise your work and desk space into a clutter-free space. Organise your revision materials into folders so you know exactly what you have. It will help you feel stress-free if you have a structured game plan and everything you could possibly need in front of you.

The Sunday Night Game Plan♡
Every Sunday night I sit on my bed and plan my week. It may seem far in advanced to plan the whole week but it really helps me to cope with stress. If I write down what I need to do everyday it helps me know exactly what my goals of that week are. That way when I come home I have a check list and when that check list is completed the evening is free for me.

Get Outside♡
When I'm studying inside I tend to feel like a hermit crab just stuck indoors. One of the best ways for me to help relieve stress and anxieties is to go for a walk. I went to the beach in January on a weekend where I was quite anxious and stressed and just being outside really did take my mind off any stress. If you can, at least every fortnight, grab your wellington boots and go off adventuring!

The Importance Of YOU Time♡
As well as having a schedule of structured study it is also as important to schedule in time for yourself. Have a night off from study once and a while. Have a bubble bath, read a book or binge watch netflix! It will help you relax, clear your head and take your mind off things.

There's Nothing A Bubble Bath Can't Cure♡
I completely agree with this quote. The first thing I do when I get home is shower or have a bath because for me being submerged in hot water filled with bubbles makes me feel calm and it's really  peaceful to have some alone time in the bath. It really helps me clear my head and helps me forget about my stresses.

I hope these tips will help you!
Lots of love,
 Emily xx

body shop tea tree skincare review♡

I have particularly spot-prone and oily skin so trying a new skincare range specifically designed to fight spots and mattify my skin was such a treat! Anything that fights my spots is a winner for me. Of course I had to report back to you on how they were for my skin so here is the review!

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash
The facial wash was the first thing I purchased from this range. I asked the lady at the Body Shop about this facial wash and she said that this was an effective and fast working product. The facial wash is very intense and works fast in about 2-3 days of using this every day my spots greatly reduced their redness and started to heal. When applied, the tea tree wash feels tingly and it gives a warming sensation to the face and physically feels like the product is doing something. It foams up well when mixed with water. I also find that when I use this in the morning the oiliness that used to build up on my face throughout the day greatly reduced. The facial wash is 250ml and is priced at £5.50. I think that for the amount you get and the rate in which I use it it is totally worth the money. I bought this in October and have not used it up yet.

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser
The foaming cleanser is a similar concept to the facial wash except that the cleanser can be used to remove face makeup as well as cleaning your face. I find that I use this more when I want to really clean my skin and give my skin a refresh. It also works at removing face makeup so if you wear foundations on a regular basis it is lovely to use to give your pores a deep cleanse. The cleanser comes in a pump which is easier to use than the facial wash as that requires you to squeeze the product out. The cleanser appears liquid in the bottle but when you pump the cleanser out it turns into a foam without adding water yourself. This also gives the same warming effect on your skin which feels like the cleanser is actually doing something. This also really helps reduce spots and impurities and works quick and effectively. Out of the facial wash in this, I actually prefer the facial wash as I feel like you can get more for your money as the tea tree skincare is £5.50 for 150ml.

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner
This is probably my favourite product out of the whole range. I never really understood what a toner did because to me it just looked like a water that you smooth over your skin for no apparent reason? Anyone else?! Anyway, this particular toner helps remove impurities and leaves skin looking mattified. And it actually works! Before I do my makeup sometimes I have built up a natural shine and my skin looks greasy. One swipe of this on my T-Zone and my shine is GONE! It's such a great product for those with greasy skin and again, as as well as removing shine, it fights spots and blemishes. This retails for £5.50 for 250ml which I think is such a perfect price. I think that with the amount you get I don't think I will need to repurchase this anytime soon!

Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion
The lotion is a thin moisturising consistency and I apply this on my chin and forehead area where I am prone to the most spots. The product gives a warming sensation on your skin and it feels like it's working and actually doing something. I am not sure how effective this product is on it's own as with a mixture of these products I have managed to help reduce the spots I have. It also contains shine control to leave my skin looking matt which is ideal to apply before my makeup so I can prevent shine for as long as possible. It retails for £9 for 50ml of product. I probably won't repurchase this again if I'm honest because of it's price tag but if you fancy spending a bit more it is worth the money!
