Today I'm just going to be doing a quick review on one of my recent makeup purchases which featured in a haul last month :)
It is the Undress Your Skin shimmer highlighter which retails at Superdrug in the MUA section for £3. It was hyped up quite a bit on Instagram and blogs. I was drawn to this product because of the hype to be honest. It is inexpensive and I wanted to try a highlighter just to see and MUA is a good brand to test and try products because of the good price.
The highlighter itself is a frosty pinky champagne colour and looks nice and natural. I have paler skin and it suits my complexion and I would expect it to suit a variety of different skin tones. As far as highlighters go it does do it's job and is a good product for the price you pay. I love the actual form of the compact because it looks like waves.
I noticed was how good quality the packaging was. A lot of MUA products have packaging that is really easy to break. This is really compact and won't get damaged easily when in your makeup bag.
The bad thing about this product is it doesn't pick up on a brush easy, I used my Real Techniques contour brush and I found it difficult to actually get the product from the compact to the brush and then on my cheeks. I now use just my fingertips to apply this because using my fingers takes the product off better.
Thanks guys for reading and let me know if you have tried this product :)
